Who we are
CropMix is a five-year research programme, running from 2023 to 2027, funded by the Dutch Research Council (NWO). The programme is part of the National Science Agenda and is known under file number NWA.1389.20.160. The CropMix consortium consists of various knowledge institutes, participating arable farms, (nature) organisations and chain parties (see full list).
Wageningen University & Research (WUR) is the programme's penciller and is (financially) responsible for thorough implementation of the programme. WUR owns www.cropmix.nl. In this privacy and cookie statement, we therefore refer to "WUR" or in full "Wageningen University & Research", but may also read CropMix.
We respect your privacy
WUR is committed to protecting your privacy and making our services transparent, personal and reliable. Personal data obtained from you through this website will be processed in accordance with the applicable privacy regulations.
When is this privacy statement applicable
This statement describes your rights and obligations with regard to the processing of personal data through our websites and applications and the use of cookies. In the Reglement bescherming persoonsgegevens are general provisions that also apply to your use of WUR websites or applications.
WUR uses your personal data for the following purposes
Website statistics
When you visit www.cropmix.nl, the website processes various personal data: your IP address (protected by hiding the last three digits) and the date and time of your visit. At an aggregated level, the website keeps statistics on the number of visitors, number of views per page and via which search engines and browsers visitors came. However, this data cannot be traced back to an individual IP address. We do not share individual IP addresses with others.
The above data is collected for the following purpose: improving the website, by understanding the number of visitors and which pages are well and less well visited.
Digital newsletter subscription
On www.cropmix.nl you can subscribe to CropMix's digital newsletter. You only need to provide your e-mail address. We will only use this data to fulfil your request - receiving the digital newsletter - and not for other purposes. Your data will not be provided to third parties without your consent, unless necessary.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter via the confirmation email you received when you subscribed to the newsletter. You can also send a request to cropmix@wur.nl to be unsubscribed from the newsletter.
Third parties, retention periods, legal protection and the data protection officer
Information on how Wageningen University & Research handles the use of third parties, transfers to other countries, retention periods, information on your rights with regard to the processing of personal data obtained through the use of the website or applications and the contact details of our data protection officer can be read in the Reglement bescherming persoonsgegevens.

Cookies
To optimise visits to www.cropmix.nl, the website maintains visitor statistics. To do this, the website uses cookies. You can indicate in the settings whether you want to allow these cookies. This setting will be saved for one month or until you delete your temporary files.

If, in your opinion, your problem is not being resolved properly, you can contact the Personal Data Authority (www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
If WUR processes personal data on the basis of the data subject's consent, that data subject has the right to withdraw consent. In many cases this can be done in the manner described in the consent form, but in any case also by sending a request to privacy@wur.nl.
